Joan Kravett is an art consultant and interior designer
committed to helping companies relocate, renovate, expand or upgrade
their space. She brings experience and creativity to the selection of
furniture, finishes, artwork, accessories, plants and signage.
Recent projects include The Related Companies, Accenture, Max Capital
Management, Second Curve Capital, Pitcairn Properties, Algin Management,
the design studios of Donna Karan, Bill Blass and Nautica; Haworth,
Wacoal, Pulte Homes, C.G. Jung Institute, Metropolitan Hospital and
the United Nations.
Joan was previously the curator and designer for Smith Barney. There
she founded a corporate art gallery, instituted a company-wide standards
program and directed the acquisition and installation of art and furnishings.
Joan's innovative approach to furnishing over 600 branch offices resulted
in significant savings.
The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) featured Joan
in a panel discussion on corporate art programs. She was included in
Katherine Marx's book, Photography for the Art Market and is a member
of the International Association for Professional Art Advisors (IAPAA)
and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC).
